Guess what......a lovely sunny day at last. This was an easy day for me as I only walked as far as Harlyn Bay having walked the rest of it several times before.

I walked with Margaret as far as the 'Rest a While' tea room which of course we had to try out and it was well worth it.

I reached Harlyn Bay by lunch time and spent a lovely hour in the sun on a seat overlooking the bay before catching the bus to Porthcothan where I spent some time eating ice cream and sitting on the beach. It's a hard life, anyone would think I was on holiday!

Meanwhile Margaret was thoroughly enjoying walking this part of the path without any steep climbs and had time for a paddle before we caught the bus to Newquay.
We had decided to stay three nights in Newquay and use the bus to get to and fro from the walks. It was a pity that this was the worst of our B&Bs and quite a contrast from yesterday. It was clean but a bit sparse and not particulary welcoming although it was in a good position less than five minutes from the bus stop, the shops and Wetherspoons! It was Saturday night and very noisy all night with shouting and seagulls. There was a bouncer on Wetherspoons door but he let us in and inside it was fine.
